Since our inception in 1990 under the name “Wealth Home Decor,” we have evolved from a modest trading enterprise into a fully integrated conglomerate operating across ceramics, sanitary ware, real estate, logistics, packaging, chemicals, oil & feed, and paper manufacturing.

Bangladesh is a free market economy, where the private sector plays the key role in establishing an industrial base. We are striving to expand our industrial portfolio to meet the needs of a growing population. Starting from the trading of ceramic products, the group’s industry now covers ceramic factories, edible oil refineries, chemical factories, paper factories, and many others. We eagerly anticipate further expansion of our business and service portfolio to make a sizable contribution to the national economy.

It’s been almost 35 years since we started this journey of ours with BHL Group. From a small trading business, we have walked a long way in the past 3 decades. Our business grew with time, and today we have 15 manufacturing units with 2000 employees working together to achieve success every day, every hour.


At BHL Group, we have always been inspired by innovation, exploring new areas of business, and new investments in time, effort, and money. All these have worked in favor of us, making us a pioneer in various industries of the country. We have not only expanded in size, we have expanded in diversity too. Our current product portfolio consists of commodity products like edible oil, flour, ceramic, chemicals, and logistics.


We consider integrity as our core strength. We are honest in our work and hope to retain this honesty in the years to come. It’s our integrity that inspires us to produce the best products, establishing a mutually beneficial relationship with the nation.

Our journey began as Wealth Home Decor — a small trading business that introduced quality imported home fitting solutions to the Bangladesh market. This is where the foundation of trust, integrity and customer-centricity was built.

2010

This was the year BHL crossed its first major inflection point. We expanded beyond trading into structured nationwide distribution and formal business unit formation. Instead of only importing, we began building capability — dealer networks, multiple concern entities, multiple product lines and more disciplined market penetration models. This is where BHL shifted mindset from business operator → business architect. From this point forward, growth was not accidental scale — it became engineered scale.

2014

Strategic industrialization stage began. BHL entered manufacturing investments — chemicals, edible oil & feed, and new industrial verticals that contributed to national supply chain strengthening. This marked the shift from importer advantage to domestic industrial capacity creator.

2016

BHL stepped into agro-infrastructure by establishing cold storage facilities in Rangpur — supporting one of Bangladesh’s most critical potato cultivation regions. This move proved our industrial philosophy: real business growth must solve real economic bottlenecks. 2016 marks the beginning of BHL investing in sectors that uplift livelihoods, supply chains and farmers — not just consumer end product markets.

2017

BHL entered the ceramic production industry under the name BHL Ceramic — a turning point that reshaped the entire identity of the Group. We moved from importer to manufacturer. From consumer product distributor to world-class producer. From follower category to category builder.

2020

The Group entered its modern expansion phase. In this stage, multiple large industries were brought under the BHL umbrella — including Paper Mills, Flour Mills, Logistics, Packaging and Sanitary Ware. This is when BHL transformed into a multi-industry ecosystem — where diverse industrial units reinforce each other, share capability and create large-scale competitive advantage.
